Jail and Bail
One of CoRR’s favorite events, Jail and Bail brings together community leaders, and ordinary
citizens for a common cause… battling the disease of addiction. Over the many years of doing
this event that is graciously sponsored by KNCO Radio Station, hundreds of citizens have volunteered
their time in the name of fun – and a good cause.
On the day of this event, volunteer “Jailbirds” serve time in a mock jail that doubles as KNCO
Radio Station. “Prisoners” are arraigned before a volunteer Judge or (Jim Kerr) on trumped-up,
outlandish charges like “recklace golf-cart driving”. Their sentence is to spend an hour in the
“slammer” (KNCO) Radio Station, where they raise bail in the form of donations to CoRR.
