Our Commitment to Quality Treatment
CoRR is internationally accredited with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The mission of CARF is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through accreditation that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Accreditation was awarded after we passed an in-depth review of our services and demonstrated that they meet CARF’s internationally recognized standards.
Although accreditation with CARF (the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is strictly voluntary, all of CoRR’s programs are currently CARF accredited. CARF is an independent, nonprofit body whose international certification is the hallmark of quality because of their high treatment standards and requirement that accredited programs have a recognizable system in place for program improvement that relies at least in part on gathering input from the persons served. Ours was the first program in Nevada County to be awarded this certification, which demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest quality of treatment to our clients. CoRR is also one of the few facilities qualified to treat dual diagnosed individuals so that anyone may receive treatment for psychological problems, such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder while recovering from alcohol and/or chemical dependency.
By pursuing and achieving this accreditation, CoRR has demonstrated that it meets and commits to continuing to meet the CARF international standards for quality and is committed to pursuing excellence.
Cost of Treatment vs. Cost of Substance Dependence
Unfortunately, drug and alcohol treatment programs by and large are not inexpensive. However if you take into account the financial problems that will persist if you don’t free yourself from your addiction, such as the legal costs associated with a DUI ($15,000 - $20,000), Divorce ($15,000 - $30,000), Liver Transplant ($314,000), or Stroke ($140,000), or the costs associated with job loss or injury to yourself or others, the cost of treatment to avoid these likely consequences is MINOR!
When considering a program, try to focus more than anything else on the quality of the staff, the variety of program components and the clinical approach, because, other than your own personal commitment to your recovery, these three criteria will be the most determinative of your success.
Insurance Benefits and Financial Responsibility
CoRR can work with you to use your Health Insurance to assist in covering the costs of your treatment. Health insurance plans generally do not cover the entire cost of our program. Please consult your Admissions Counselor for more information on how to ensure that you or your loved one will be eligible for the entire program. Insurance policies and benefits vary greatly. We will help obtain any relevant information, including a list of allowable benefits on a new patient’s contract.
Employers and insurance agents can also be helpful in answering questions about benefits. Insurance or managed care companies may require concurrent reviews of a patient’s medical care during hospitalization. If medical necessity is approved by the patient’s insurance company, the certification of days will be given a few days stay at a time. Authorization does not guarantee payment by an insurance company.
We will work with the patient’s insurance company to provide the necessary information required in order to review for medical necessity, but it should be noted that CoRR has no control over the outcome of these reviews and such reviews do not guarantee payment by any insurance carrier upon final billing.
Insurance Benefit Verification
Additionally, our Intake Specialists will discuss all relevant fees and ancillary charges with you prior to admission, so that you are completely aware of your potential financial obligation. As part of this process, our staff will verify your insurance eligibility and benefit coverage if you choose to use insurance. We accept insurance from a number of providers. View insurance list.
Whether you have a question about a referral, are seeking other assistance or have additional questions about our programs, we are always available to help. If you would like to schedule an intake, you can start by filling out our on-line intake form or by calling our Clinical Director at 273-9541. We will do our best to schedule your intake appointment within 24 to 48 hours of your initial request for treatment.
Remember, your call is confidential, and the initial assessment is provided free of charge.
Payment Responsibility
Please be aware that CoRR cannot hold your insurance company responsible for payment of services rendered. An insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. Full payment is expected upon admission to any program unless prior arrangements have been made. Financing is available. Incomplete or delayed financial arrangements can postpone actual admission. To avoid any delay in admission to CoRR, a review of insurance or other payment arrangements is necessary. A CoRR financial counselor will work with patients and their families to make manageable arrangements that will meet their financial obligations.
Please call us with further questions regarding services and the admission process. Of course, all inquiries are strictly confidential.
