Outpatient Treatment

OUTCLIENT SERVICES – for adults with substance abuse issues

  • Up to a 1 yr. program, amount of contacts and types of counseling approaches vary for each individual and their individual situations
  • Sliding scale fees available.  Medi-Cal is accepted as full payment if qualified
  • Group times – Monday through Friday – 9:30am - 11:00am / 12:30pm - 2:00pm / 6:00pm - 7:30pm
  • Individual sessions can be scheduled with respect to your availability

MENTAL HEALTH and RECOVERY SERVICES – for individuals and families experiencing co-occurring issues

  • Licensed Therapist’s work with individuals and families with complex challenges and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Mental Health Services are currently only offered at our Grass Valley Service Center
  • Program includes: Individual and Group therapy, Couple’s and Family therapy, Family Group, Juvenile Anger Management (JAM), Relationship Group, Men’s Group, Assessments, Literacy, Life Skills, Parenting
  • Individual and group sessions available on a sliding scale fee

MOTHERS IN RECOVERY – for pregnant or parenting women (child care and transportation available)

  • A variable intensive day treatment and outpatient program up to 1 year in length.
  • Individual and group services provided by therapists, counselors and supervised by our staff Doctor.
  • Mothers are expected to remain clean and sober while in the program and to that end they are randomly tested to insure they maintain abstinence.
  • Individuals are required to attend 12-Step meetings.
  • Mothers are supported in their role as a parent, supported in developing problem solving and assertion skills, and are taught basic food planning and preparation skills.
  • Sliding fee scale, medi-cal, and additional funding sources available.

FAMILY SERVICES – focus is solely on family issues pertaining to substance dependence

  • Families have access to both group and individual services
  • Licensed MFT, MFT-Interns and specifically trained Counselors facilitate these services
  • Fees based on sliding scale

CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES – for individuals that have been required by the criminal justice system to access services

  • DUI – 12 week and 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 month programs / State established fees $250 to $1700 depending on required program
  • Drug Diversion - $450 / 12 week Drug and Alcohol Education Program
  • Adult Drug Court
  • Juvenile Drug Court
  • Dependency Drug Court
  • Mental Health Drug Court
  • Prop-36 Program

ASSESSMENT SERVICES – for individuals needing professional assessment for substance abuse or anger issues

  • Clinical assessment comprised of a clinical interview with clinical testing and drug testing, written report, and recommendations
  • Fees are based on a sliding scale
  • Substance Abuse Assessment $150  

INTERVENTION SERVICES – to assist families with the process needed to intervene on negative family behaviors

  • Certified interventionist on staff to provide couples, families and individuals with consultation and hands-on interventions.

Adolescent Treatment

ADAPT – Adolescent Drug & Alcohol Prevention & Treatment – learning recovery skills and making responsible choices

  • 12 to 36 week outpatient program; adolescent groups; family groups; individual sessions
  • Program includes parental involvement, group counseling, individual counseling, urinalysis testing
  • Monday and Friday groups 3:30-5:00 pm. Family group on Wednesday night 6:00-7:00 pm.

ADOLESCENT OUTREACH – focuses on substance abuse prevention and making healthy/responsible choices

  • Weekly support groups (Young & Restless) at CoRR Wednesday & Thursday 1:00-3:00pm. Free.
  • Juvenile Anger Mgmt (JAM): Ongoing Individual Intakes, Thursday group 3:30-5:00.
  • Weekly at Juvenile Hall for incarcerated adolescents - free. Wednesdays & Thursdays 12:40-2:30, Individual Sessions 2:30-3:00.
  • Weekly at Earl Jamieson High School: Monday group 11:00-1:00. Wednesday Individual Sessions 11:00-1:00. Friday Juvenile Anger Management or Life Skills 10:00-12:00. Free.
  • Weekly at Lyman Gilmore: Monday group 3:30-5:00. Free
  • Twice Weekly at Park Avenue

SIP – Student Intervention Program – provided to support healthy life choices

  • 4 week court mandated program for adolescents; minor drug or alcohol offenses; court referral required
  • Group Intake Tuesdays 4:00-6:00. Friday group 5:00-6:00.
  • Sliding fee scale – offered in partnership with the office of the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools

Inpatient Treatment

INPATIENT SERVICES – HOPE HOUSE – Intensive in house treatment for women that have serious substance dependence issues, and up to two of their young children.

  • 90-day program for women and women with up to 2 children.  Fees are $6,000 monthly

Supportive Transitional Housing

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING – for individuals who are currently abstinent and need a supportive and supervised environment

  • Requires being enrolled in our outpatient program, random drug testing, based on sliding scale
  • For Men – men’s house – 6 month maximum stay – high level of accountability - $500 monthly or based on income
  • For Women & Children – women’s house – 6 month max stay – high level of accountability - $500 monthly or based on income

Life Skills Services

PARENTING – Tactics and techniques to improve parenting skills

  • 10 – 12 week programs, utilizing the Parent Project (11-17) & Loving Solutions (5-10) Programs
  • Certificate and workbook upon completion – Ongoing Parent Support Groups
  • Sliding fee scale and some funding assistance through Nevada County Probation or CalWorks maybe available

ANGER MANAGEMENT – for individuals experiencing anger issues and desiring to learn positive problem resolution

  • 12 week programs for adolescents and adults
  • Certificate upon completion
  • Sliding fee scale. 

BATTERERS INTERVENTION PROGRAM – for individuals who must comply with court order

  • 52 week (County Approved) program.
  • Multiple sites – bilingual services
  • All services provided by trained and certified personnel
  • Classes offered: Monday 3-5pm @ South County Office, Tuesday 5:30-7:30pm @ Grass Valley Office, Wednesday 4-6pm @ Truckee Office, Thursday 5-7pm @ Grass Valley Office, Saturday 9:30-11:30am @ Truckee Office (Spanish Speaking)
  • We also offer a 12 week program for voluntary attendance.

LIFESKILLS & LITERACY – individuals desiring to learn additional everyday self-sufficiency and independent living skills

  • Lifeskills information delivered in group and individual sessions
  • Focus on barriers to abstinence – 12 weeks program
  • Education and training for State Proficiency Exam and GED (by Certified Teacher)
  • Sliding fee scale.

SMOKING CESSATION CLASSES – are you ready to quit and stay quit???

  • 8 week class based on American Lung Association’s program material
  • $100 class fee due at time of enrollment
  • Sliding scale available – FREE if you are a current client

  • Private pay & walk in requests welcome for individuals, businesses, or Parents
  • Drug Testing monitored by Nationally certified Collectors and DOT certified Breath Alcohol Technician

  • Training program provided by Certified SAP and Substance Abuse Counselor

  • Available at CORR Offices in both Grass Valley and Truckee
  • Free information and materials about chemical dependency and 12 step meetings
  • Multiple information about illnesses and issues associated with chemical dependency
