Goals

  1. Ensure the highest standards of practice in providing chemical dependency treatment and prevention services to all those in need by implementing an effective "continuum of care" to accomplish CORR mission.

Strategies

Services Strategy (Goal #1)

Implement an effective continuum of care to accomplish the CORR mission by ensuring the highest standards of practice in providing chemical dependency treatment and prevention services to all in need.

  • Identify the components necessary for a continuum of care.
    • Utilize a workgroup comprised of key staff to identify components.
    • Identify components currently in place and components needed.
    • Maintain ongoing quality assurance to ensure components are necessary.
  • Develop strategy to create identified components needed.
    • Board and staff to utilize workgroups to create strategies
    • Identify what is needed to implement strategies.
  • Create policies and procedures that support the employment of qualified people.
    • Executive Director to delegate writing necessary policies and procedures.
    • Reevaluate staff when new policies and procedures are in place.
    • Maintain a staffing plan that requires the use of qualified staff.
    • Develop comprehensive benefits package for all employees.
  • Create training programs for all levels of staff.
    • Provide quarterly trainings pertinent to current trends in treatment in all disciplines (i.e. MFT's, CADC's, Interns).
    • Delegate duties of scheduling and topics to Family Director.
  • Establish an effective budget for marketing and communications.
    • Identify budget necessary to accomplish each strategy.
    • Identify success ratios in order to measure effectiveness.
    • Identify areas of weakness and growth.

Marketing Strategy (Goal #2)

Establish a marketing plan that supports and extends the CORR mission and the services provided by CORR.

  • Establish a solid community identity.
    • Adopt a memorable single message describing CORR.
    • Develop a multi-faceted creative campaign (for all marketing).
    • Develop organizational relationships in the community.
    • Implement a communications strategy, which includes media.
  • Generate $XXXXXX in public funding.
    • Maintain/increase current levels of funding.
    • Cultivate relationships with new sources of funding.
    • Apply for new sources of funding.
  • Generate $XXXXXX in private funding.
    • Establish prospect database (individuals, corporate, foundations).

Organizational Strategy (Goal #3)

Consistently improve the organizational effectiveness in all areas of CORR operation.

  • Develop protocols to maintain strategic planning for CORR.
    • Board to develop 5-year strategic plan.
    • Executive Director to submit to Board in May of each year a business plan and budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
    • Accept and pass plan at beginning of each year.
    • Board to meet bi-annually to audit organizational effectiveness.
    • Establish means of attracting qualified people to join the Board.
  • Develop CORR communications protocols.
    • Executive Director to implement effective communication at all levels of CORR.
    • Executive Director to maintain appropriate weekly staff meetings.
    • Executive Director to maintain monthly program director meetings.
    • President of Board to maintain monthly board meetings.
    • President of Board and Executive Director to maintain quarterly meetings between staff and board.
    • Executive Director to maintain and update all necessary policies and procedures for staff and organization.
  • Create financial stability/security for CORR.
    • Create savings plan (cash reserve).
    • Budget in a proactive manner.
    • Develop a fundraising foundation.
    • Establish realistic revenue projections.
    • Ensure marketing plan is in integrity with overall financial plan.
